Mary M. Grant
Mary M. Grant, 90, of Butler passed away at 12:50 p.m. Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a short illness.
Mary was born on April 19, 1924, in Butler. She was the daughter of the late John Cupec and Anna Durik Cupec.
Mary enjoyed her garden and loved fishing and flowers.
Mary is survived by two daughters, Marian Schilling of Evans City and Donna Meals of Butler; two sons, Donald Grant of Butler and Joseph Grant and his wife, Melinda, of Erie; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Margaret Drobezko of Slippery Rock; a brother, Joe Cupec of Conneaut; several nieces and nephews, and her blue heeler, Dawn.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Grant, who passed away on Aug. 19, 2005; two sisters, and four brothers.
Grant— The family of Mary M. Grant, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
