Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will host a mah-jongg beginners class from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Friday. Mah jongg is a game played with tiles. The Maridon is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8. Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 W. Main St. rear, Saxonburg, is taking part in the Saxonburg Festival of the Arts Saturday and Sunday by hosting demonstrations. The cooperative is presenting members' artwork. Colored pencil drawings by Mary Hoffman will be displayed beginning Oct. 4. Gallery hours are noon to 8 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays.
