Randy Ray Eppinger

Randy Ray Eppinger, 50, passed away of natural causes suddenly Saturday morning at his home in Plaingrove Township, Slippery Rock, Lawrence County.

Randy was born in New Castle to Jack Rhodes Eppinger and Thelma Mae Frazier Eppinger.

He worked on the family farm, Eppinger Farms, in Plaingrove and for U.S. Bulk Transport.

He was a Protestant.

Randy enjoyed trucking, farming, riding his bike, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his companion, Tammy McCluskey at his home in Slippery Rock; his son, Jacob R. Eppinger and his companion, Kara McConahy, of Slippery Rock; his daughter, Jenna R. Eppinger of Slippery Rock; his four brothers, Jerry W. Eppinger and his wife, Nancy, of Pulaski, Donald H. Eppinger of Indiana, Dennis C. Eppinger and his wife, Mindi, of Slippery Rock, and Roger C. Eppinger and his wife, Samantha Wagner, of Santa Clarita, Calif.; his granddaughter, Addilyn of Slippery Rock, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Eppinger — The family of Randy Ray Eppinger, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at theSmith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Associate Pastor Ron Nagel of New Life Baptist Church in New Wilmington officiating. Interment will be in South Plain Grove Cemetery, Plaingrove Township.
