Helen L. (Kaufman) Wolfe, 88, of Adrian passed away Tuesday at ACMH Hospital.

She was born July 18, 1926, in Washington Township to the late Leroy and Mary Jane (Harmon) Kaufman.

Helen attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Adrian.

She liked to play bingo and to solve crossword puzzles.

Helen is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jacob Wolfe, who she married in July 1944; her daughter, Connie (Jim) Crawford of Karns city; five sons, Jacob (Kathy) Wolfe Jr. of Sherrett, James (Linda) Wolfe of RD 1 East Brady, Robert (Pat) Wolfe of Adrian, Marty (Debbie) Wolfe of Garretts Run, and Ronald (Teri) Wolfe of Adrian; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her son-in-law, Rick Swaney of Adrian; and two sisters, Jean Belles of Adrian and Carol Bowser of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Swaney; her grandson, Jimmy Wolfe; her great-grandson, Matthew Johns; two brothers, Arthur and Walter Kaufman, and three sisters, Vera Jack, Betty Southworth and Thelma Kaufman.

(Kaufman) Wolfe, who passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville.Additional viewing will be from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Adrian with the Rev. James Neal officiating.
