Bob Dick
IN MEMORIAM
In loving memory of my
husband, Bob Dick, who went home to be with the Lord August 24, 2013.
Hi Honey,
It’s been a year since we laughed, planned our next day, had coffee on the porch, told each other “Good night, see you in the morning.” How can time go by so quickly yet seem to stand so still?
My heart breaks, and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do to bring you back, but I trust in God’s goodness and am grateful He did what was best for you.
I look at our place and see what you built with your hands. I’m so proud of how you could build and fix anything, but what I marvel at most is what you built with your heart in your four beautiful children. You taught them to be kind, generous, loving, to look for the ‘good’ in everyone and, through your humble, quiet and gentle soul, you taught them to follow God and trust in His ways. You led by example and they were watching. They, now, have picked up where you left off.
Thank you for your love, protection, provision and patience. I read somewhere, “One of the greatest blessings a woman can receive is a husband whose walk with the Lord is a priority in his life. That man is the caring, loving husband God intended him to be.” You were by blessing. You were and will always be my love.
Until I see you again, know how very thankful I am that you shared your life with me. Miss you.
All my love,
Connie
