Richard Lloyd Morgan

Richard Lloyd Morgan, 73, of Evans City passed away Thursday at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Aug. 21, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Lloyd G. Morgan and Hazel P. (Aiken) Hopper.

Richard was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Evans City and the John E. Mair Lodge 729 in Mars.

He retired from Duquesne Light as a traveling operator in 1998.

In his free time, Richard enjoyed fishing and motorcycles. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Katherine (McMillen) Morgan of Evans City; his son, Frank Morgan and his wife, Sheri, of Harmony; his stepgrandson, Jared Glenz; his daughter, Tricia Wendereusz and her husband, Larry Jr., of Evans City; his brother, Gary Morgan and his wife, Helena, of Evans City; and his sister, Becky Lambert of Penn Township.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two grandsons, Matthew and Robbie.

MORGAN — The family of Richard Lloyd Morgan, who died Thursday, July 17, 2014, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev.
