Joseph Sabo

Joseph Sabo, 93, of Butler passed away Tuesday at his home.

Born on Dec. 14, 1920, in Pittsburgh, he lived in Hamilton, N.J., from his marriage in 1946 until 2005 when he moved to Butler with his late wife, Mary Nemes Wolfer Sabo, who passed away on Oct. 15, 2009.

He retired from Trenton Folding Box after 32 years as a packaging structural design artist.

He graduated from C.B. Connolly Vocational High School.

He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Trenton, N.J.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Barbara Soos Sabo; husband of the late Mary Nemes Wolfer Sabo, and brother of the late Julia Jeso, Bertha Wobrak, Margaret Sabo, Elizabeth Silassy, Kathryn Bodak and Ethel Toth.

Surviving are his son, Mark G. Sabo of Port Hueneme, Calif.; his daughter and son-in-law, Karenlynn and Gary Rauschenberger of Butler, and his many nieces and nephews.

Sabo — Calling hours for Joseph Sabo, who passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, are from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, Hamilton, N.J.
