Grace Catherine Maiolo

Grace Catherine Maiolo, 80, of Williamsport, Md., formerly of Eau Claire, passed away Monday at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Sept. 13, 1933, in Eau Claire, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and B. Isabelle Gardner Beers.

She was preceded in death by the true love of her life, her husband, Tino F. Maiolo in 1989.

She was employed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in Rockville, Md., until retiring in 1994.

She was a member of the Mother Seton Parish in Germantown, Md.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Cole-Sanders and her husband, Thomas, of Mercersburg, Melinda Gindes and her husband, David, of Brookeville, Md., Melody Cunningham of Brandywine, Md., and Valerie Schrecongost and her husband, Jeffrey Sr., of Williamsport, Md.; her grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Benjamin, Brian, Jamie, Rebecca, Jonathan, Lauren, Emily, Catherine, Michael, Jeffrey Jr. and Sarah; and her eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, James Beers of Beverly Hills, Fla., and Dean Beers of Accident, Md.; her sisters, Peg Selfridge and Patricia Garland, both of Beverly Hills, Fla., and Barbara Kroh of Butler; and some very special people who shared in her life, Cindy, Margie, Nancy and Margaret.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Ronald, Bob and Harry.

Maiolo— The family of Grace Catherine Maiolo, who passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport, Md. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mother Seton Parish, Germantown, Md., with the Rev. Father Louis J. Faust celebrating.
