Alfred H. 'Al' Stach

Al Stach

Alfred H. “Al” Stach, 70, of Evans City passed away Saturday in the comfort of his home.

Born on Aug. 11, 1943, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Beverly M. “Betty” (Walker) Stach Westerman and the late Alfred H. Stach Sr.

Al was a 1961 graduate of the Evans City High School.

After many years of dedicated service, he retired from BNZ in Zelienople as a chief electrician.

He enjoyed traveling and gambling, but above all, he valued the time spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Al leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Nancy J. (Moyer) Stach, whom he married on Dec. 21, 1993; his two children, Dwayne Stach and Marilee Bender and her husband, Zack; his two stepdaughters, Jill Eudaly and her husband, Darrol, and Amy Bennett and her husband, Roger; his sister, Beverly Barkley and her husband, Troy; his brother, Denny Stach and his wife, Blanche; his seven grandchildren, Heather McMaster, Chloe Rutledge, Eva Eudaly, Ian Stach, Morgaine Stach, Hailey Bennett and Hannah Bennett; and his great-granddaughter, Tatum McMaster.

In addition to his father, Al was preceded in death by his stepfather, LaVerle H. Westerman, and his nephew, Troy Barkley.

Stach— The Stach family will welcome friends of Alfred H. “Al” Stach, who passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at theBoylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Verna Call officiating. Al will be laid to rest at the Evans City Cemetery.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Al's honor in support of the Evans City Public Library, 204 S.
