The group Here Comes Treble, which competed in a national event recently, consists of, from left, Ariel Clifford, Catriona Reynolds, Hannah Clifford and Maeve Hendricks.

Here Comes Treble, a barbershop quartet, competed in the Young Women in Harmony Rising Star competition Aug. 2 in Lowell, Mass.

As the champion of Region 17, Here Comes Treble competed against 12 quartets from across the country and placed eighth.

The group consists of Ariel Clifford, in the tenor part, a graduate of Mars High School who attends Westminster College; Catriona Reynolds, in the lead part, a senior at Knoch High School; Hannah Clifford, in the bass part, a graduate of Mars who attends Slippery Rock University; and Maeve Hendricks, in the baritone part, a graduate of Obama Academy-Pittsburgh Public School who attends Penn State University. Ariel Clifford and Hannah Clifford are sisters.

The group’s coach is Lynn Ross of Gibsonia.
