Person dies jumping from Rt. 28 bridge
FREEPORT — A person died this morning jumping from the Route 28 bridge near Freeport.
Armstrong County authorities were called to the bridge late this morning after receiving a report that someone had jumped from the span.
Emergency personnel reportedly found a body under the bridge, near the Butler-Freeport Community Trail.
State Police in Kittanning are investigating the case.
No official report has been released.
