Evelyn Clark

Evelyn W. Clark, 86, of Butler passed away Tuesday at her home.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1927, in Butler, the daughter of the late Earl Victor and Mary (Roth) Wise.

Evelyn was a member of the First English Lutheran Church. She had worked as a customer service representative for Sprint/United and Peoples Telephone companies.

She was a member of the Oak Hills Garden Club and The Reading Club of Butler, and a past member of Meals on Wheels, FELL Women's Club and the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, William R. Clark of Butler, who she married on Sept. 15, 1948; her two daughters, Debra A. (Richard T.) Brannon of Butler and Barbara A. (Rolland) Zellerino of Newburgh, Ind.; her son, Matthew R. (Constance) Zarnick Clark of Woodbridge, Va.; her eight grandchildren, Jeremy and Roman Zellerino, Andrew and Jason Brannon, and Wyatt, Hannah, Jonah, and Gillian Clark; her three great-grandchildren, and her sister, Lorraine Kesterson of Cabot.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Victor Wise.

Clark — The friends of Evelyn W. Clark, who passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at theYoung Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Pastor John Smaligo officiating.
