Ronald J. Blymiller

Ronald J. Blymiller, 84, of Chicora, formerly of Butler, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday at the Oakland Veteran's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on March 2, 1930, in Butler, he was a son of the late Bernard Blymiller and Helen Ione (Croft) Blymiller.

Ron worked as a forklift operator for the James Austin Co. in Mars for 18 years, retiring in 1992.

He was a member of the North Street Christian Church in Butler.

A veteran of the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Navy. Following that, he served with the U.S. Army Reserves, totaling 21 years of military service.

Surviving are his daughters, Rondi (Paul) Baker of Chicora and Cindy (Rich) Marcucci of Butler; his four grandchildren, James Smith of Butler, Ambuer Hinchberger of Butler, Anna Carnahan of Millsboro, and Jason Gonzalez of Butler; his stepgranddaughter, Whitley Baker of Brookline, and his four great-grandsons, Brian, Tyrone, Joshua and Jacob.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister.

Blymiller — There will not be a visitation for Ronald J. Blymiller, who passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014.A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the North Street Christian Church, 226 W. North St., Butler, with the Rev. Robert Huber, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Arrangements are by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
