Gary Francis Harry
Gary Francis Harry, 65, of Slippery Rock passed away suddenly of natural causes at 9:21 a.m. Thursday at UPMC-Seneca hospital near Oil City, Venango County.
He was born in Oil City, Venango County, on June 13, 1949, to the late Francis G. Harry and Margaret “Peggy” Christina Hasted Harry.
He married Jane Olszewski on June 22, 1974, in Cambridge Springs.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Harrisville American Legion Post 0852.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family and quiet time at his camp.
He was retired after working for the U.S. government.
He is survived by his wife, Jane, at their home; his three sons, Samuel Eric Harry of Slippery Rock, Craig Andrew Harry and his wife, Kathryn Ann, of Slippery Rock, and Curtis Allen Harry and his partner, Holly, of Geneva, N.Y.; his daughter, Michelle Lee Ceravalo and her husband, Steven, of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; his sister, Margaret Jane Bigelow and her husband, Rick, of Oil City; his two brothers, Jeffery David Harry and his wife, Olympia, of Pittsburgh, and Joseph Arthur Harry of Chambersburg; and his three grandchildren, Grant Ceravalo and Andrew and Mya Harry. He also is survived by his mother-in-law, Frances Taylor and her husband, Mike, and a number of sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
