John L. Stiffler, 59, of Mars, formerly of Wildwood, Hampton Township, died Thursday evening at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

He was born in Pittsburgh on Nov. 3, 1954, the son of the late Harold K. Stiffler and the late Marie Marino Stiffler Petrone.

John had lived at Penn-Mar Plaza in Mars for the past 33 years and enjoyed the social activities there. He was a member of St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township.

Surviving are three brothers, Kenneth Stiffler (Amanda McLaughlin) of Courtland, Ohio, James Stiffler of Redlands, Calif., and Richard Stiffler of Courtland, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
