EAU CLAIRE — State police are investigating an armed robbery last week at a home in the 100 block of North Washington Street in the borough.

No one was injured in the stickup about 4:10 p.m. July 14 but the unknown robber, described as a white man about 6 feet, 3 inches tall, made off with $650 worth of prescription drugs, according to a police report.

The alleged victim, a 62-year-old man, told investigators the intruder entered his home, pointed a gun at him and demanded his drugs.

The robber wore an orange bandanna, sunglasses and a blue ski mask that apparently disguised his face. He was dressed in a gray tank top and blue jeans.

A telephone call to the police barracks in Butler Township this morning was not immediately returned.
