Carolyn D. Jerich

Carolyn D. Jerich, 70, of Saxonburg passed away Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born on June 23, 1943, in New Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Adrian and Pearl (Thomas) Blose.

Carolyn was a graduate of Redbank Valley High School and Indiana (Pa.) University. She worked as a school teacher for Creighton. She was also the secretary for John Jerich Trucking.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and gardening.

Surviving are her loving husband, John Jerich, whom she married on Aug. 23, 1965; her sons, Bill (Sandra) Jerich of Saxonburg, and Bob Jerich of Saxonburg; grandson, John William Jerich; granddaughter, Kristin Jerich, and brothers, Cliff Blose of Michigan and Larry Blose of California.

Jerich — The friends of Carolyn D. Jerich, who passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Pattock, OFM Cap., officiating.
