Hannah Dayle Swigart, 36, of Butler passed away Wednesday as the result of a tragic event.

She was born May 17, 1978, in Grove City to Clair McCartney and Bonnie (Patterson) McCartney.

Hannah was a supervisor for the United Parcel Service in Zelienople. She was very active in the Parent Teachers Association at Center Avenue Elementary School. Hannah was a member of Christ's Outreach Church and was also a Sunday school teacher. She was a loving wife and enjoyed being a mother to her three children.

Hannah is survived by her husband, Joel Herman Swigart, who she married on Feb. 22, 2003; three daughters, Ella Swigart, Lillian Swigart and Adele Swigart; her parents, Clair and Bonnie McCartney of Hadley; one brother, Evan McCartney and his wife, Vashona McCartney, of Hadley; her grandmother, Della Mae Patterson of Grove City; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

SWIGART — Friends of Hannah Dayle Swigart, who died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., Butler, with the Rev. Gary A. Koontz of Christ's Outreach Church officiating.Burial will take place in the North Side Cemetery.The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hannah Swigart Children Memorial Fund at any PNC Bank.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
