Dorothy A. (Maibaum) Connolly, 79, of Zelienople, formerly of Valencia, passed away Friday.

She was born on Nov. 21, 1934, to the late Walter and Clara (Shimshock) Maibaum.

Dorothy was the beloved wife for 44 years of the late John T. Connolly; the loving mother of Karen Hughes-Kline of Renfrew, John W. Connolly of Cape Coral, Fla., Cynthia Maseth of Gibsonia, Teresa DeSanto of Erie and Joseph P. Connolly of Cranberry Township; the proud grandmother of 10; and great-grandmother of four.

Dorothy loved to golf and to eat out with friends and family. She loved the sun at Myrtle Beach, sitting by the pool and reading for hours. Dorothy recently took-up playing dominoes. Everyone loved her infectious laugh. Dorothy loved to attend her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's activities.
