BlueSox end skid
LORAIN, Ohio — Ben Hartz tossed 6 2/3 shutout innings and Dave Yakopec and Austin Ross finished things off on the hill as Butler ended a two-game skid with a 2-0 win over Lorain County in Prospect League action Thursday night.
Hartz scattered four singles to raise his record to 4-1 this season.
Ross struck out two in a perfect ninth inning for his third save.
Grove City High grad Jeff Revesz doubled, singled and drove in a run for the BlueSox (24-18, 9-5).
Butler is off again today before returning to Kelly Automotive Park for a four-game home stand starting Saturday night against Richmond.
