James 'Jim' L. Freimuth
James “Jim” L. Freimuth, 83, of Butler, formerly of the North Hills, passed away Friday.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis E. and Catherine (McThague) Freimuth, and his brother, Andrew McThague Freimuth.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Tiemeyer) Freimuth; the loving father of Kathleen (Arthur) King, James L. Freimuth Jr., Andrew T. (Charlene) Freimuth, Patrick J. (Kim) Freimuth, Ann Marie (late Francis) McSweeney, Beth (Bill) Wynn, Maureen (Michael) Pass and Paul Christopher (Jen) Freimuth; and the cherished grandfather of 19. He also is survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Jim was an active member of Holy Sepulcher Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and hunting. Jim was proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
FREIMUTH — Family of James “Jim” L. Freimuth, who died Friday, June 13, 2014, will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Schellhaas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Sepulcher Church.Interment will be in Holy Savior Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Vincent DePaul Society or Holy Sepulcher Building Fund, 1304 E.
