Cranberry Township’s offense exploded for 17 hits in a 13-1, six-inning Eagle County League baseball win over host Saxonburg on Monday.

The victors posted three runs in the third inning and four more in the fourth to break the game open.

Mike Mulvey not only earned the win on the mound with five innings pitched, he added three base hits at the plate.

Ben Murray singled twice and doubled while Zack Kreke, Bill Clinefelter, Tanner Master and Dave Coradi each contributed two hits for Cranberry (8-12-2).

Bobby Swartwout singled and doubled for Saxonburg.

Zac Sessa shouldered the defeat with four strikeouts and two walks in three innings of work.
