Hazel B. Robson

Hazel Bernice Robson, 81, of Karns City passed away at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday at her home.

She was born March 16, 1933, in Butler to the late Ellsworth H. Buchanan and the late Bessie F. (Kuhn) Buchanan.

Mrs. Robson worked as a sales clerk for Kuhn’s Country Store.

She enjoyed camping, quilting, crossword puzzles, baking, cooking and ceramics. Mrs. Robson was a Presbyterian.

Mrs. Robson is survived by one son, Thomas C. Robson Jr. and his wife, Myrna, of Connoquenessing; one daughter, Debora L. Robson and her husband, Albert Schmick, of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Amanda L. Anderson and her husband, Cole, of Connoquenessing and Angela M. Robson of Connoquenessing; three great-grandchildren, Gavin T. Campbell, Dylan J. Campbell and Caleb E. Anderson; one sister, Dorothy Mincer of East Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. “Chuck” Robson, who she married Dec. 22, 1950, and who passed away Dec. 22, 2003; and two brothers.

ROBSON — Friends of Hazel Bernice Robson, who died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, will be received Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held immediately following at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Mary J. Kitchen of East Butler Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will take place in the Concord Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001 or the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
