GIBSONIA — Gary McKeown is the new director of business development for St. Barnabas Charities.
McKeown's responsibilities will include business development, corporate relations and planned giving initiatives.
He has more than 30 years in sales, marketing and operations with Coca Cola North America.
McKeown has a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Duquesne University.
He and his wife, Barbara, live in Cranberry Township and have two children.
St. Barnabas Health System has four retirement communities, three living assistance facilities, two skilled nursing homes, and a community outpatient medical center.
EMLENTON, Venango County — William Marsh, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton, has been elected chairman of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.As chairman, Marsh will lead the state's largest banking trade association for a one-year term that began July 1.The association is based in Harrisburg.Marsh said, “This is a big honor for Farmers National Bank, and I look forward to serving the PBA throughout the year.”He has served as chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton and its parent holding company, Emclaire Financial Corp., since June 2009.He began working at the bank in 2001 as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer before starting as the president and chief executive officer in June 2007.Marsh had worked with other banks in Western Pennsylvania and Maryland and served as a manager in the financial services audit practice of KPMG in Pittsburgh.Marsh is a graduate of Clarion (Pa.) University and a certified public accountant.
EMLENTON, Venango County — Jennifer Roxbury, senior vice president and chief operating officer of The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton, has been elected vice chairman of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Group 8.The Groups in the state cover a region and play a significant role in the nominating process and grassroots efforts of the association.“I am honored to be given the opportunity to guide and connect PBA members within the 16 counties of Group 8,” said Roxbury, who began serving her three-year term on July 1.Roxbury has been with the Farmers National Bank of Emlenton since 2011.
Kierston Hobaugh, the United Way of Butler County's director of results and performance, was recently appointed to be a Keystone STARS stakeholder committee member.Keystone STARS is a statewide program that provides families with access to prekindergarten education.The committee was formed by the state departments of Education and Public Welfare and the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in 2005.Hobaugh will serve a three-year term, representing Butler County.• named finalists for business awardsFour individuals tied to businesses with operations in Butler County were among 30 people named finalists in June for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award program for Western Pennsylvania and all of West Virginia.
