Ryan Fennell singled in the game-winning run in the sixth inning of Saxonburg’s 1-0 Eagle County baseball win over Freeport.

Andy Firtz, Derek Fadowski, Zane Voltz and James Connelly also singled for Saxonburg. Connelly pitched seven innings and struck out nine to earn the win.

Dustin Kodel singled twice for Freeport. Nolan Fetsko pitched six innings and struck out one.

Mars II 9, Zelienople 3 — Eric King struck out six and singled to help Mars II beat Zelienople.

Tim Geibel hit a solo home run for Mars II and Chuck Mayhugh also hit a two-run home run.

Tim Smith, Gave Stevenson, Evan Oswald and Nick Rossmiller also drove in runs for Mars II.

Crawford singled and drove in a run for Zelie.

Cranberry 4, Mars 2 — Ryan Owens tripled and Mike Mulvey picked up the win on the mound.

Mulvey also doubled. Dave Coradi also added a double for Cranberry (7-10-2).

Brendan Malone doubled for Mars.
