Sara Haugh

Sara A. Haugh, 83, of Butler passed away Sunday peacefully at her son’s home in West Sunbury.

Born on Oct. 20, 1930, in East McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Hilda Brennfleck Glunt.

She was a homemaker and also worked on the family farm. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and reading, and her dogs. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.

She was a member of the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

A special thank you is in order to Terry, Merritt, Paula and Dee for their special care during her illness.

Surviving are her daughter, Janet Haugh of Butler; her son, Jim Haugh of West Sunbury; her grandson, James (Christine) Haugh of Ludlow; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Robert and Pat Haugh of Aliquippa, Edward and Connie Smorey of Portersville and Richard Smorey of Butler; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Haugh, who passed away Jan. 11, 2014.

Haugh— The friends of Sara A. Haugh, who passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Butler, with the Rev.
