Water main break
A water main break Saturday morning shut down Route 308 between Sunset and Pal Mar drives in Center Township. According to Butler County 911 records, the road was closed from 10 a.m. Saturday through 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Roughly 20 Pennsylvania American Water customers along the road had little or no water pressure until 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The company is attributing the cause to the 75-year age of the 8-inch iron pipe.
