Dean U. Harrison, 87, of Mars passed away Saturday morning at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born in New Kensington on June 27, 1926, he was the son of the late Charles Richard and Cora Arbutis Hepner Harrison.

Dean had been an engineer for Valley Mould in Hubbard, Ohio.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and he was a member of Mars V.F.W. Post 7505.

He was a member of Mars United Methodist Church, now Dutilh.

Surviving are his two daughters, Susan J. Brandon (George) of Carolina Shores, N.C., and Cheryl A. Holquist (Ken) of Carlisle; his son, Scott R. Harrison of Sharon; his seven grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Anne Zboran (Steve) of Augusta, S.C.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Harrison.
