Renfrew girl wins rodeo queen contest
KITTANNING — Fifteen-year-old Bailey Montgomery of Renfrew rode to victory Saturday at the Fort Armstrong Rodeo Queen Contest at Crooked Creek Horse Park in Ford City.
As rodeo queen, Bailey will represent the Fort Armstrong Horsemen’s Association at the 18th annual Fort Armstrong Professional Rodeo in July.
To earn her title, Bailey completed community service hours with her four fellow contestants, demonstrated her knowledge of western tack and competed in judged riding contests.
Bailey, the daughter of Jeff and Becky Montgomery, will be a sophomore at Butler Intermediate High School in the fall.
