Butler County Parks and Recreation Department's free Family Concert Series begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and runs through Aug. 12 in the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park. Playing Tuesday will be the Greater Cranberry Barbershop Chorus. Call 724-284-5383.

Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts presents the River City Brass Band in concert at 8 p.m. Friday at the Crawford Center, 511 Hill St., Emlenton. James Gourlay will conduct the 28-piece ensemble in a program of big band brass.
