SAXONBURG — Central Electric Cooperative customers in the Saxonburg area are scheduled to lose power this Saturday.

The power will be shut off from 10 a.m. to noon so workers can make improvements to a substation. The company said the improvements will make unplanned power outages easier to address. If the work is canceled due to rain, the outage will take place June 28.

The outage will affect about 2,000 customers.
