Ryan O’Connor tallied a two-run single and James Connelly a run-scoring base hit during Saxonburg’s three-run eighth inning in a 10-7 victory over host Freeport II in Eagle County League baseball action on Monday.

Derek Sadowski added a pair of singles and two RBI in the win while Connelly earned the victory after striking out five and walking none in four relief innings.

Saxonburg improved to 8-1-2.

Nolan Fetchko shouldered the defeat, striking out two and issuing six free passes in a complete game.

Campbell hit a home run and drove in two in the loss.
