Defendant in 2002 rape trial set to testify
The defendant in a rape trial in Butler County Court was expected to testify in his own defense this afternoon.
Prosecutors claim they have linked Ralph Skundrich, 47, to the assault of a Cranberry Township woman in 2002 through DNA evidence that police got from the defendant on his 2009 arrest for another case.
He lived in Middlesex Township at the time of the rape.
