In memory of our son and brother Russ Barger, tragically taken two years ago today, June 16, 2012.

This day comes with sad regret,

It brings back a day we will never forget.

The call was sudden, the shock severe

We never thought such grief was near.

If time heals all wounds, like some people say,

Then why does it seem like yesterday.

We miss you more than anyone knows,

As each day passes, our emptiness grows.

Our broken hearts will never mend,

It will be our burden till the very end.
