Marian E. 'Eileen' Haley
Marian E. “Eileen” Haley, 94, formerly of North Bluff Street, Butler, passed away Tuesday morning at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on Feb. 15, 1920, in Cabot, she was a daughter of the late Athanasius Denny and Estella (Easley) Denny.
She was a homemaker. She retired as a sales clerk from the Troutman Department Store in Butler, after 26 and a half years and from the Bon Ton Department Store after seven years.
She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, the St. Paul's Guild and Christian Mothers Group, and Phase II St. Peter's Church.
Surviving are her five sons, James B. (Joan) Haley of Pinehurst, N.C., Lawrence “Larry” (Therese) Haley of Butler, Michael “Mickey” Haley of Cincinnati, Ohio, John (Gail) Haley of Gibsonia, and Terrence “Terry” (Deborah) Haley of Butler; her 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard L. Haley, who died on May 27, 1973; her companion of 15 years, Lloyd Brose; her son, Dennis Haley; her daughter, Mary Booker; her granddaughter, Eileen Booker; her six sisters, and her brother.

Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.
