Joseph Pajewski

Joseph J. Pajewski, 81, of Prospect, formerly of West Deer Township, Allegheny County, passed away peacefully Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler after a long illness.

He was born on Jan. 28, 1933, in Natrona and was the son of the late Stephen and Frances Sypucinski Pajewski.

A 1950 graduate of Har-Brack High School, Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Korean War.

Joe retired from PPG Industries after 33 years.

He was a member of St. Christopher at the Lake Catholic Church in Prospect, and the Knights of Columbus Council 5501 in Russellton.

Joe loved gardening, landscaping, woodworking, sports, and family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Judith Cingle Pajewski; three sons, Stephen G. (Pye) Pajewski of Glenshaw, Kevin J. Pajewski of Pittsburgh, and Michael J. (Jen) Pajewski of Indianola; two daughters, Kathleen M. (Daniel) Thomas of Prospect, and Karen L. (Keith) Colton of West Deer; a brother, Francis Pajewski of Natrona Heights; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John, and by a grandson, Daniel.

Pajewski— There will be no public visitation for Joseph J. Pajewski, who passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Christopher at the Lake Catholic Church, 232 N. Franklin St., Prospect, with Father Joseph Feltz officiating. Burial will take place at sea.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Butler County Dialysis, 229 W. Diamond St., Butler, PA 16001.Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Jay Bryan Funeral Home, Prospect.
