BUTLER TWP — Penn State Cooperative Extension will sponsor a natural gas workshop titled “Shale Gas Update, Managing Your Lease, Pipeline Considerations” July 1 at the Butler Township Park Building, 468 Duffy Road.

The same program will be offered at two different times, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Dan Brockett with the Penn State Marcellus Education Team will discuss the impacts and options landowners may face.

This workshop is intended to help landowners have a better understanding of what is happening now and what options they may wish to consider in the future.
