Members visit Sunnyview, share projects
More than 50 Butler County 4-H members gathered at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Wednesday to share their projects with residents.
Members brought animal 4-H projects such as rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, ducks and dogs for Sunnyview residents to see and touch. Displays were presented, including a spinning wheel, to highlight the many different projects done by 4-H members.
After lunch provided by Sunnyview, nearly 20 youths gave demonstrations and prepared impromptu speeches related to their 4-H projects.
A panel of judges scored the presenters and they received ribbons and a premium. Results are as follows.
