Patricia L. “Pat” Lamison, 80, of Fenelton passed away late Thursday evening at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler with her family by her side.

Patricia was born in East Brady April 1, 1934. She was the daughter of the late William Blair and Helen Maude Crawford Bowser, and the niece of the late Elsie “Ish” Crawford, who helped to raise her.

Pat was a 1953 graduate of East Brady High School and was married in Bradys Bend April 6, 1955, to William C. Lamison. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 2006.

She enjoyed the company of her grandchildren, reading, gardening, playing bingo and listening to country music.

Surviving are four children, Donna J. Lamison of Fenelton, David E. Lamison of Butler, Laura K. Matecka and her husband, Robert, and James T. Lamison and his wife, Margaret, all of Fenelton; five grandchildren, Amber Hart and her husband, Harold, of Pittsburgh, Cheyanna R. Petroski of Butler, Brett T. Lamison and his wife, Kayla, of Chicora, and twins Lance and Lexis Lamison of Fenelton; three great-grandchildren, Adian Lamison of Chicora, and Joshua and Harold Hart of Pittsburgh; three brothers, Larry Bowser and his wife, Yvonne, Richard Bowser and his wife, Judy, all of East Brady, and Gary “Bub” Bowser and his wife, Amy, of Chicora; two sisters, Winifred Melendez and Carol “Sis” Kolich and her husband, Butch, all of East Brady; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Patricia was preceded in death by one son, Michael J. Lamison, who died July 21, 1994, and three sisters and three brothers.

LAMISON — Friends of Patricia L. “Pat” Lamison, who died Thursday, May 8, 2014, will be received at Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. A funeral will follow from the funeral home at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Wallace, pastor of Chicora Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Condolences may be sent by visiting www.hilefh.com.
