Nancy L. Diehl

Nancy L. Diehl, 67, of Evans City, formerly of Karns City, passed away Monday at UPMC Montefiore Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 4, 1947, in Cumberland, Md., the daughter of Harold and Rowena (Ellis) Bennett.

Nancy grew up in Cresaptown, Md., and spent most of her life in the Karns City area. She graduated from Allegheny County High School and worked at Walmart for the last 10 years.

Nancy was also involved with the Evans City Senior Center. She loved flowers and gardening, and enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and needlepoint.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Greg Diehl of Evans City; her daughter, Stephanie Russell and her husband, Jack Jr., of Butler; her grandchildren, Jeffry Russell, Casey Russell and Aaron James Diehl; her brothers, Robert Bennett and his wife, Trudy, of West Virginia and Jack Bennett and his wife, Robin, of Frostburg, Md.; and her sister, Helen Pfeiffer and her husband, Howard, of Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
