HOUSTON, Pa. — A man who was arrested for cursing in front of police has filed a lawsuit, claiming authorities violated his right to free speech.

Richard Pustovrh, 24, of Houston was arguing with his employers in September 2012 and they called the police.

Pustovrh allegedly used an obscenity to voice his frustration after an officer warned him not to. Pustovrh was handcuffed and later found guilty of disorderly conduct and obscene language, but the charge was withdrawn when he appealed.
