Garrett Sexton worked 2 2/3 scoreless innings of relief to get the win as Butler City edged Freeport 10-8 in Butler County legion baseball play Thursday.

Shae Stobert doubled and singled and Connor Thomas added a pair of singles for Butler City (1-7).

Saxonburg 15, Center Township 7 — Saxonburg scored nine runs in the fourth inning to erase a 5-1 deficit at Laura Doerr Park.

Taylor Sharer singled, doubled, collected three runs batted in and three more scored to spark the win.

Jordan Hickey, Spencer Voltz and Joel Zacherl each had two singles and two RBI, with Hickey adding a pair of runs scored.
