Saxonburg held off a feisty West Sunbury squad in a 7-5 Butler County legion baseball game on Tuesday.

Saxonburg led 7-0 before the hosts plated five runs in the bottom of the seventh. With the tying run on second base, Taylor Sharer managed a strikeout to end the game.

Caleb Thorn singled and doubled for Saxonburg, while Gavin Miller singled twice and Joel Zacherl doubled and drove in two runs.

Dustin Montgomery and Miller held West Sunbury to just two hits over the first six innings.
