Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., presents a new exhibit opening Sunday featuring watercolors by the late Taiwanese artist Ran In-Ting. The Maridon is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8. Unionville Grange Hall, Butler, presents local author Katie Schell of Harrison City with her mother, Ock Soon Lee (Pega Crimbchin), at 7 p.m. Monday. Schell's book “Love Beyond Measure: Memoirs of a Korean War Bride,” tells Crimbchin's true story of survival as an orphan coming of age during the Korean War. The Oil Valley Center for the Arts, 206 Seneca St., 1st Floor, Oil City, presents Simple New Ways to Arrange Flowers from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The class will explore several different techniques to brighten your world with flowers and plants. Students will use design, color, shape, and found objects to make arrangements pop, while creating three different small arrangements. The class will be taught by Tom Huston, president of the Oil City Garden Club and Student Flower Show judge. Registration is $25 with a $10 materials fee. Deadline to register is Sunday.
