Mary F. Koelmel, 90, of Cabot, formerly of Florida and Buffalo, N.Y., passed away Wednesday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

Born July 19, 1923, in Fairmont, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Henry O. Frisch and Mary Pierce Frisch.

Mary was known for her lovely smile and kindness toward others. She had worked as a registered nurse as well as a volunteer at her church and at hospice.

Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn Murray of Buffalo, N.Y.; her two sons, John S. (Pat Walker) Mitchell of Savannah, Ga., and David F. (Carol) Mitchell of Sturbridge, Mass., and her grandson, Matthew Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
