Madge Williams

Madge Carol Williams, 75, of Butler passed away Thursday at her home.

She was born on Jan. 20, 1939, in Roseville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Rodney Williams and Mildred Besser.

Madge had worked at Lifesteps and for Slippery Rock University.

Surviving are her four daughters, Cynthia (Bill) Young of West Sunbury, Pamela (Jamie) Noblit of Butler, Diane Spagnola of Olmstead, Ohio, and Tina (Kevin Hinderliter) Williams of Slippery Rock; her two sons, Charles M. (Kim Werner) Williams of Butler and David (Cindy) Williams of Butler; her 16 grandchildren; her 19 great-grandchildren; her sister, Cynthia (John) Wilhelm of Zanesville, Ohio; and her brother, Mark Besser of South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Williams, who died on Feb. 11, 1995, and her brother, Rodney Williams.

Williams — The friends of Madge Carol Williams, who passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and from 6 until the time of the service at 8 p.m. Saturday.
