Madeline Lee Wheeler Marcink
Madeline Lee Wheeler Marcink, 82, of Clay Township, formerly of Bradford Park and North Side Pittsburgh, passed away at 10:10 a.m. Thursday at Concordia.
Madeline was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late William H. Wheeler and the late Alice G. Harrold Wheeler.
She was a member of St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Pittsburgh.
Madeline and her husband, Eugene, owned and operated Marcink's Café in Conway.
Madeline is survived by three daughters, Vicki Marcink of St. Petersburg, Fla., Christina (Randy) Reda of Racine, Wisc., and Paula (Kenneth) Schoeneweis of Moon Township; four sons, Richard Marcink of Economy, Robert Marcink of Minooka, Ill., Gary (Juliet) Marcink of Ambridge and Eugene (Pamela) Marcink Jr. of Butler; 11 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. One sister, Bonnie Lou Dober of Pittsburgh, and three brothers, Lynn Wheeler of Pittsburgh, Terry Wheeler of Texas and Keith Wheeler of Alabama also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene P. Marcink Sr., who died May 1, 2009; one sister; and one brother.
Marcink— The friends of Madeline Lee Wheeler Marcink, who passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
