Betty I. Miller
Betty I. Miller, 77, of Spring Street, Petrolia, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Betty was born May 10, 1936, in Karns City. She was the daughter of Bernard and Edna Blystone Jordan.
Mrs. Miller was a longtime member of Petrolia Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed the company of her grandchildren and camping. Betty was well-known for being an excellent cook and baker, and had been employed at the Centurion Restaurant in Petrolia for more than 30 years.
She was a longtime active member of the ladies auxiliary to the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of the Lady Rebekah Lodge 19.
Betty was married in Karns City Sept. 4, 1954, to William L. Miller. Mr. Miller preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2007.
She is survived by one daughter, Robin K. McGinnis and her friend, Eric Blauch, of Petrolia; one son, Kevin W. Miller and his wife, Jamie, of Chicora; five grandchildren, Ashley, Brooke, Seth and Shane Miller, and Keirstin McGinnis and her fiance, Justin King; two great-grandsons, Dane and Colin King; three brothers, Jack Jordan and his wife, Gloria, of Bruin, Ronald Jordan and his wife, Carolyn, of Hilliards and Charles Jordan of Butler; two sisters, Janice Angiolieri and her husband, Fred, of Chicora and Patricia Cipolla of Karns City; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Raymond McGinnis.
MILLER — A funeral service for Betty I. Miller, who died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Petrolia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Harper Brady, church pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.Memorial contributions in Mrs. Miller's memory may be made to Petrolia Presbyterian Church, P.O.
