Brandon Spinneweber and Andrew Hartzel combined on a no-hitter Thursday night as Meridian defeated Freeport, 13-1, in Butler County legion baseball.

Tony Cillo had two doubles, a single, scored three runs and had three RBI for Meridian. Travis Edinger added a double, single and three RBI.

Winning pitcher Spinneweber had two RBI while Ryan Denny contributed two singles, a double and scored two runs.

Freeport's run scored on a sacrifice fly by Brandon DiBello.

Alex Seybert struck out eight in a complete-game victory. Dustin Kepple and Jake Stoner had two singles each while Tyler Brown doubled.J.Bennett had two singles for Slippery Rock.
