Kathlyn Jean 'Katie' Lanzalotto
Kathlyn Jean “Katie” Lanzalotto, 25, of Butler passed away Friday.
Born on Dec. 29, 1988, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Rocco G. Lanzalotto and Patti Reed.
Katie had a loving personality and a big heart. She adored her daughter, Shariya, and the two were inseparable.
Katie also loved animals and enjoyed showing boxers at dog shows. She won many awards in junior handling, showing in the ring against professional handlers.
Katie had an infectious smile and a laugh that brought joy to others. Katie was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and niece.
Though she is very much missed, her beautiful spirit will live in our hearts and minds forever. We love you, Katie.
Surviving are her father, Rocco G. Lanzalotto of Butler; her mother, Patti Reed of Butler; her daughter, Shariya Kaye Stone; her brother, Eddie Nash of South Carolina; her four sisters, Lori Nash, Connie Gustafson, Stephanee Feltmate and Bobbie Joe Nash, all of Butler; Steve Stone, Shariya’s father, of Butler; her grandmother, Jean Reed of East Pittsburgh; and her numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lanzalotto — The friends of Kathlyn Jean “Katie” Lanzalotto, who passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
